Trade1st.co.uk Using The Site
Home Page
The home page is the first page of the trade1st.co.uk website. From our home page, not only can you start to browse our extensive range of products, you can register with us as a member, log-in, view our terms and conditions and privacy and security policy. The home page contains our latest offers and deals and our top ten trade 1st products. At any point during your visit, you can return to the home page by clicking on the trade1st.co.uk logo at the top left-hand corner of your screen.
Product Search
There are two product search facilities. The first, select the ‘Product Search’ from the bar known as the ‘Navigation Bar’ you will see category and brand, select either or a combination of both that you are interested in, you may also select a price range for the product. When you have selected your desired requirements click on the search button and the results will be displayed. You can also input a product keyword for this search.
The second type of product search, is available direct from the Home Page, select and click on the product category or brand or a combination of both you wish to search and then click on Go. In many cases this will guide you to a sub-category search which will help you isolate the product further.
There is a full page of information available for each product, including volume price breaks and a facility to enlarge the product photograph.
Product Discounts
Many products have volume linked discounts, full details of these discounts are available on the product detail page. To access the detail page please click on the photo or the name of the product from the multi product view pages.
Purchases can be made from both the product detail page and from the multi product view pages. Select the quantity required and then click on ‘Add to Basket’ and the summary of the prices will appear within the ‘Your Basket’ box in the top right hand corner of the screen. To view the details of the contents of ‘Your Basket’ click on ‘View Basket’
View Basket
When you are at the ‘View Basket’ page you are completely in control of the whole buying process. You can add more items by either clicking on ‘Return to shopping’ or ‘Back to home page’, allowing you to continue browsing for more products, whilst the ‘Remove’ button by each product will remove the selected product from your basket. Once you are satisfied that you have selected all the items you wish to purchase, you need to click the ‘Update Basket’ button to recalculate your trolley. At this stage all prices are shown in £ Sterling and the delivery prices is set at the lowest available. For customers requiring a Saturday delivery or delivery to Northern Ireland or Off shore UK mainland this cost will increase, you will have to select the correct location and the cost will change.
Registered Users
If you have already logged in as a registered user you simply proceed by clicking on the ‘Proceed to Checkout’ button at the top right hand corner of the page. If you are not logged in, you will automatically go to a page for registering OR logging in. ‘Log-in’ OR register and you will automatically default to your Basket.
Non-Registered Users
There are many benefits to registering (click on ‘Registering’ from navigation bar for more information). If you don’t want to register at this stage you can still place your order and proceed to the checkout, however you will not receive the 2% discount.
